Professional Pool Liner Installation
Getting your pool ready for swim season is what we’re all about! By having a professional install your new pool liner, you can rest assured that it has been done properly. We have 30 years of experience building above ground pools and replacing pool liners in Southern Eastern Ontario, so we know the soil and weather conditions well. Years of trial and error have given us insight into what products work well in our Canadian climate and having a true pool professional change your liner will ensure a wrinkle and leak free installation.

What to expect
Our Pool Liner Installation Process
- Set an appointment.
We will arrive punctually at your appointment time. We like to be on time and our customers expect it. - Visual Assessment
The first thing we do when we get there is a visual assessment of the pool’s exterior and filter equipment. - Removal of the liner
We then remove your old liner and inspect the pool wall carefully for any rust damage. - Disassembly
If no rust damage is found we disassemble the pool for the new liner replacement. This includes removing the skimmer box and return jets. - Re-Levelling
We inspect the pool floor, and carefully re-work it to remove any obstructions like rocks and roots. New sand is added and the pool floor is smoothed out and returned to as-new condition. - Lining the Pool
The new pool liner is installed and fastened to the pool wall. All wrinkles are then removed from the pool floor and walls and the process of adding water begins. - Plumbing Re-installation
We reinstall the skimmer box, return jets and any original plumbing.
What’s needed from you
For those looking to have us replace your pool liner, there are a few things that are required in order for our crew to complete the job.
Prior to our arrival:
- All pool liner and liner accessories should be delivered and on-site at the time of your appointment.
- The pool must be drained of water.
This is important as even when using a sump pump it can take up to 4 hours to remove the water from the average size above ground pool. - We need electricity for a very short time.
Access to a typical electrical outlet for approximately 15 minutes, is all that is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to install a new pool liner?
The typical timeline for a complete pool liner replacement is 3 to 4 hours and prices will vary for pools with decking, fencing, deep centres or deep ends.
How much does a new pool liner cost?
The price of a new pool liner depends on the size and style of pool that you have. Locally, AquaBay’s pool liners start at $229.
How do I know if my pool liner needs to be replaced?
A pool liner should be replaced if it is ripped, cracked or leaking. On average, a high-quality pool liner can last up to 10 years with proper maintenance.
Why does my pool liner fade?
Over time pool liners fade because of pool chemicals and sun exposure. Over chlorinating a pool will cause your liner to fade faster, which is especially noticeable on darker liners.
