Our Fence Installation Process
- Contact us to get a free quote.
We will meet with you, discuss what you’re looking for, inspect the proposed site and give you our professional advice. If you’re looking for decking as well, we will give you a quote for this. - Schedule an installation appointment.
Once you approve of the installation plans, we will order what is needed and set a time to install your new fence. - Inventory and Assessment
We will show up for your appointment promptly, since we like to be on time, and customers expect it! When we arrive we will perform a quick inventory of the fence supplies and mark out the area. - Fence posts
We begin your fence construction, ensuring everything is straight and all measurements are accurate. We dig post holes and insert the fence posts. Depending on the type foundation chosen, we may need to come back after it has had time to set. - Rails and boards
We construct the top of the fence and install fence boards. - Clean up and approval
We clean up our tools, make the area safe and then ensure the owner is satisfied with their new fence.
What’s needed from you
For those looking to have us install a new fence, there are a few things that are required in order for our crew to complete the job.
Prior to our arrival:
- All fence materials should be delivered and on-site at the time of your appointment.
- The space where the fence is going must be clear of debris, and you must have done your due diligence to ensure that the fence will respect property lines.
- Any underground infrastructure must be marked. Ontario One Call recommends they are informed at least 5 days prior to allow time for the utility companies to mark their lines.
- We will need electricity for the duration of our time.
- Though many of our tools run on batteries, we will also need access to a typical electrical outlet.

What type of fencing do you offer?
We install custom wood fences. We will work with you to decide on the design, location and height that you need.
Can you repair my existing fence?
We offer fence repairs. We will come and assess your existing fence, and offer our suggestions. Depending on the condition of your fence we may recommend that it be replaced.
How long does it take to install a fence?
If we do not need to pour concrete footings for your fence, then we can install it in one to two days. If poured footings are being used then we need to allow time for them to set. This will require us to return for another day. When we come to assess your fence needs we will give you a personalised timeframe.
